Mumble Upgrade coming soon!!

Hi All!
Mumble have released a new version that has a number of enhancements...
These changes make them no longer compatible with existing servers, so the server will be upgrading very soon.

Download the new version of the mumble client at :
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mumble/files%2FMumble%2F1.2.0%2FMumble-1.2.0.exe/download

It will contain a 'old server compatible' version that will allow you to connect with the existing server.  I will also be migrating over your user info, so your logins will not change.

So get the new version ASAP, or you'll be left out in the cold when the change happens!

I got the update as soon as it was released but been running the backwards compatible version for awhile now.

I see that 1.2 is currently up and running as I'm no longer running in Backward Compatability mode! Thanks very much for the upgrade!

On that note, can we have the Server/Mumble Viewer fixed to reflect the new IP and 1.2 Mumble? They both are officially out of date!

The new version of Mumble and UltraMon do not play nice together.  Every time I fire up Mumble, UltraMon goes into freakout mode and crashes. Very annoying.

I'm not having any problems with them both playing nice. Could it possibly be that Ultramon needs an update as well? If not then possibly the new versions aren't compatible with 1.2 mumble. Thats an odd problem, neither program should affect the other.

Yeah, I went from 3.0.3 to 3.0.8 and that seemed to fix the problem.  Weird.

We are still having problem getting people registered to get into mumble, Chumly I'm not sure but your the last person I can think of that had admin access to the mumble server. No one new is able to get into mumble even after registering and no one seems to be getting confirmation emails either. Its been so long since I've had to register myself I'm not sure whats wrong.

Can anybody that had problems getting registered & into mumble please say something here? I want to get this solved....

Yeah I remember Jesus and I spent almost an hour trying to get knives from DC into mumble...and absolutely nothing worked. Also I really wanna know my password, so I can log in from other computers, but there seems to be no way to find it out

Yes, it's like them, but open-source.

Yes although at this point I would prefer to have us use Ventrillo. It interferes less with the in-game sound and only requires a universal password to get in instead of requiring anyone we want in to register seperately.

But I'll settle for having our mumble fixed if nothing else, I just can't get anybody with the admin access to respond to me.

Thats exactly what I'm talking about, it supposedly registers you, gives you username & PW only to say its not valid. Doesn't matter if you re-register or not. Nobody is getting confirmation emails like they used to also. Vent begins to look more & more attractive....
